Craft with Purpose

Hello, I'm Scott, the founder and craftsman behind Dust & Spark.

From a young age, I was immersed in art and craftsmanship. My grandmother was a professional potter, and my father specialized in home remodeling. This background allowed me to develop a passion for hands-on creativity, ultimately leading me to explore fine woodworking and metalworking. After college, I married my wonderful wife, Megan, and we chose to settle near family in Boulder, Colorado. Our family grew to include our playful dog, Endo, and our two lovely daughters, Kinley and Harper.

Dust & Spark represents the fusion of fine woodworking and metal fabrication, allowing us to create custom furniture, architectural metalwork, doors, and more—pieces designed to inspire for generations.

Sustainably made

We are committed to being environmentally responsible in all our products. We source our wood from salvaged urban trees and sustainably managed forests, and our steel, made in the USA, is infinitely recyclable. Additionally, we utilize zero or low-VOC finishes to ensure the safety of our furniture and the well-being of those around it.

Tree to table with a story. A large, thriving green ash tree was a landmark of my client’s home on Davidson Mesa in Louisville, Colorado. The tree provided ample shade and a great place to climb and play cultivating lasting memories for their
